SUBJECT: Board Meeting Minutes, 15 June 2021

Meeting called to order at 1905 hrs.

1. Meeting Called to order

• Present: James Hicks, President, Lawrence Thrash, Vice-President, Lissa Montgomery-Jackson, Treasurer and Dianna Davis- Small, Member-at-large.

• Absent: Robert Tennis, Secretary

2. Minutes Fr Board Mtg May 13

• Dianna Davis-Small sent the board meeting minutes from May 13th on Saturday, May 29th . Lawrence Thrash concurred with the meeting minutes.

3. Review of Agenda for Upcoming Annual Community Wide Meeting as drafted by Lawrence Thrash

• Discussion centered around setting the environment for engaging discussions with the public during the board meeting. The agenda is set up to display a group effort.

4. Budget Review and FY 2021-2022 Proposed Budget – Lissa Montgomery-Jackson

• Discussion centered around last year’s budget and this year’s budget. The information will be presented in a way to highlight success stories.

5. Identify Accomplishments for FY 2020/2021 to be briefed at meeting

• We will present accomplishments via slide shows to highlight the events with narration.

6. Discuss Future Projects, activities and events for FY 2021/2022

• We will change the vision for the future our board and present a Path Forward to focus on things going on in our community that needs attention.

7. The House of the Season Selection

• Lawrence Thrash reported out that due to no volunteers other than the board, this initiative will be pushed to the summer and fall
